Canada’s auto pact with the US is the only reason Chinese EV are shut out. China’s canola tariffs are would be lifted if we dropped our trade blocks to them.

Only thing stopping Canada from Chinese EVs is the auto pact which the United States no longer honours.

America needs political will.

Biden won, but there wasn’t enough political will to punish Trump et al. The next American leader needs the political momentum to launch Nuremberg-like trials, starting on inauguration day. Make the irreversible decisions. Make sure there is no going back to fascism.
