Yeah, it sucks that they stopped doing that once things got better and started opening up again. It was so nice for everyone all over the world to get to enjoy things like this.

Oh, definitely. But for me, I think the jump from it being just hooking up and barely even talking beyond that to them wanting to be together was a bit too quick. I can't wait to see their relationship actually develop in the second book.

I did like it. It was a fun read - though I wish there'd been a bit more about them growing closer/getting to know each other before they went from just hooking up to being in a relationship, if that makes sense? But I hear the second book focuses a bit more on the relationship?

I read HR a couple of weeks ago in about a day. The (English versions) of the books aren't super easy to get here, but I wanted actual physical copies, so I only managed to find a copy of The Long Game for a decent prize a few days ago.

There's so much fun fandom stuff happening right now. I should receive a copy of The Long Game in time for my birthday, Joey Batey's It's Not a Cult should get here early next week, the Witcher premiere in London is tonight and they're doing press right now and the show airs a week from now.

I feel you. I made some awesome friends in a few previous fandoms over the years, but mostly lost touch due to deleting my twitter account. I'm always a little envious when I see how close some people on here are. I don't feel like I've found "my people" here yet. (But I'm happy to be your friend!)

I need to finish writing my witch!Henry fic this weekend if I want there to be even a tiny chance I will post it on Halloween... I'm 8k in, but I think I have another 5k or more to write (and no real plan for most of it). 😭
