I have a very specific weird criticism of Standard in Magic right now that I'm not hearing a lot of folks talk about. The manabase is Weird. Splitting up the shock lands with the verges in the format feels so odd to me, on top of the fast land split. Is it just me? Or is anyone else feeling it too?

I don't know that i'd agree there, this pace is pretty sustainable and normal for me with an on-stream playthrough.

I completely agree that a lot of the more... unique choices feel like they're the result of too much time in the dev tank with no external testing or feedback.

It's done. Finally. I have so many complicated feelings about Silksong. It's a solid game, but not the game I was hoping for. To say more would be to say too much without saying more, so I'll leave it there and begin waiting for the content patches 🤣

I routed strength and haste for it, and held cartridges for the blasting zone continuation, since the big guy isn't really a threat and I had plenty of time. My pool luck was also pretty good, so I was at 5 or 6 arm which helped too

While everyone else was world racing, i was bashing my face into my first non PoTD solo 10-set, and I finally cleared floor 10 of Pilgrim's Traverse from 0/0. I had to swap from SGE to GNB to do it, but I did it, and now it'll never be that hard again... right? 😅 #FFXIV
