A sombre exploration of depression in a time when mental health was not given much space. A raw & honest film. A brave film. It has funny moments too. I'll be interested in what you think if and when you see it. I saw it again on Thurs and was able to enjoy it more than the premiere showing.

It was a smashing night. I managed to get a ticket mid afternoon. So wonderful to see fellow pit fans. Such a delightful treat. Many hugs and happy reunions. Then there was Bruce. The film isnt a feel good movie but is beautifully made. Q&A good. Not sure how the average non fan will view it. 1/2

I really recommend it, without the eating. It is a 2.35 hour production with a 20 min interval. It is a modern madness to have to eat, never mind make all the noise.

I am also going to see To Kill a Mocking Bird, an Aaron Sorkin production. Really looking forward to that.

There was a local school in attendance. Kids were great. To see their faces and emotion, all added to the night. All excellent. BUT BUT BUT, the noise they made eating and drinking was grim. Dear parents and teachers, please get them to leave the tupperware and crisps at home. #NoCrispsAtTheTheatre
