I did it on the ps1 where basically every battle, menu pause, or area transition had an agonizing load time.

Hades II feels like Purgatory
Hades But More is just about the least interesting thing Supergiant could have put out, and it being a solidly good game doesn't change that.

I never knew about level scaling and it never messed me up. There's plenty of ways to break or out pace whatever advantage the enemies get.
