A deep low pressure system is expected to impact Labrador this week from Tuesday night to Friday night.

A rapidly deepening low pressure system is expected Tuesday into Wednesday.

Potential hazards:
- Significant rainfall exceeding 50 mm in 24 hours.
- Significant wind exceeding 100 km/h.
- Coastal flooding due to storm surge and large waves.
The RCMP is warning motorists that heavy rainfall has increased hydroplaning conditions along Route 510 – the Trans-Labrador Highway – outside Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

The RCMP is currently responding to a report of an overturned vehicle along Route 510.
