Energized but not over the top. Saw new folks, other folks, and lovely energy. Networked for action activities. Enjoyed that the yokels with guns stayed home this time (we're odd here) and that the only oppo was a couple folks driving by that gave us the finger. But very neighborly fingers.

That's the same pattern they used for Timber Unity a faux grassroots org spun up by corporate timber folks who had been hawking the timber cutter's life while getting dupes to go to the capital and advocate -- but goal was to rezone timberlands as residential which... doesn't regrow trees.

Prob will take lawsuits blocked by the Dregs of DOJ at present. Vote Blue, impeach the ones who broke federal laws and... prob a Congressional hearing inviting such to testify to corruption would help.

Wonder who sold it? In Jan 2025 there was a rule put in place where you could depreciate a jet 100% within one year. So buncha newish jets have been taxwashed. Be interesting to see who sold them, and how that procurement happened so fast, esp as 2024 FY military aviation was underfunded for a while

Yeah, it's annoying. We live in a blue state where for decades there has been a disconnect between rural and developed parts of the state. But ya can't whine, ya gotta represent.

Across all the major outlets — NYT, WSJ, WaPo, LAT, CNN, ABC, CBS, Fox News, NBC, CNBC, NPR, Bloomberg — the only outlet without a No Kings story on its home page is CBS News.

For every other outlet, it's near the top. Even Fox News is running with "Nationwide unrest looms as thousands mobilize"

Enterprise, Wallowa Co, Oregon: about 3% of the county showed up to sing, dance, wave flags and babysit the littles. Also good natured pups! Less negative reaction than ever. I think just 2 passers by flipped us off, but in a neighborly way. Felt so GOOD, Dems and progressives celebrating AMERICA!

In what is labeled a red county, we had about a 3% turnout, complete with signs, T rex's, baby sharks, a band, flags, signs, and people of all ages (1-90) and descriptions costumed, human, canine.
