5️⃣ Commit to multi-year funding for anti-stigma campaigns & HIV awareness in health & social care 🧵👇
We called on the Scottish Government to:

1️⃣ Deliver opt-out HIV testing in A&Es across @nhslothian.bsky.social & @nhsggc.bsky.social

2️⃣ Expand #PrEP access beyond sexual health clinics — incl. through community pharmacies

3️⃣ Fund a National HIV Testing Week to boost testing & tackle stigma 🧵👇
We’ve made real progress — but ending new transmission by 2030 will only happen if we:

• Normalise HIV testing

• Improve access to prevention like #PrEP

• Support people living with HIV to live well, free from stigma 🧵👇

Yesterday Waverley Care said farewell to Milestone House 💜

Since 1991, it has been a haven of care, compassion & community for people affected by HIV & hepatitis C. While Waverley Care is moving on, Milestone’s spirit and legacy live on as we continue our work to end new HIV transmissions by 2030.🌈
