I never liked Sylveon's pale blue eyes, so I made them black in an edit.

Thoughts?

it's a shame no one ever mentions the original 2011 release of NEO: TWEWY.

I get that its 2021 remake is more popular, but... come on, show some appreciation for the original!
and since REYNATIS had a crossover with NEO: TWEWY, here's some for Marin and Moa!
Plus, a special one with @graffiti-bri.bsky.social's design for NEO Eri!
Back in 2022, Square-Enix made official NEO: The World Ends With You Valentine cards. However, a lot of characters were left out. So... Time for some new #NTWEWY themed #ValentinesDay cards💌!

🧵
I don't think this tutorial was very useful, sorry. But hopefully you learned a thing or two along the way.
The head should be approximately 1.5x bigger than in its original NEO TWEWY render.

And for the record, this is how the renders look shrunk down without index coloring; very blurry and not pixel art at all, wouldn't you say?
Another important thing to consider when translating NEO's renders to DS TWEWY is this:

Heads in NEO TWEWY's artstyle are much smaller compared to TWEWY (including Final Remix). For a fully accurate translation, you'll have to take the head apart from the body and change its size separately
as well as re-shading areas that look too messy or empty, and adding back details that were lost in the shrinking process (biggest example here being Rindo's face, eyes and mouth)

Also making outlines less thick, though that can be done at any point before🧵
Before manual fixes Vs. After.

(the size and some details are inconsistent because I'm basically re-doing the process for this tutorial, but you get the idea)

Manual fixing goes as far as changing colors in incorrect areas (such as Rindo's jacket having a yellow tint here rather than blue)
🧵
after all that, it should look like this. It's a lot messier and less polished than the ones found in DS TWEWY, so it requires manual fixes at this point🧵
