Suspect lots of people switch to uv to get their installations done faster, which matters a lot in CI environments in particular! And uv comes with lots of additional more opinionated ways to manage dependencies

For CI downloads of Wagtail - we now see more usage of uv than pip (!), at 66% of CI downloads wagtail.org/blog/uv-over... Similar numbers for #FastAPI, still below 50% for #Django. Overall downloads from uv are at 20-30% across those projects.
