Parking just got easier at Milpitas & Berryessa Transit Centers! VTA is adding scan-to-pay and text-to-pay options with new multilingual signs for a faster, clearer experience. Installation starts Sept. 1, and mobile payments launch Sept. 8 with ACE Parking staff on-site to help.

Free bus service provided by VTA between the Tamien & San Jose Diridon stations during the regular Caltrain electric train service suspension. Buses will operate every 30 to 40 min, running from approx. 5:30am to midnight on weekdays and 6:30am to midnight on weekends. Learn more: bit.ly/4kJ0UxT

VTA Frontline Workers Approve Contract Proposal
The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) was informed Wednesday, June 4, 2025, that members of Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) Local 265 have voted to accept

VTA has learned that ATU Local 265 will vote on its latest contract offer on Tuesday, June 3.
The 4-year proposal includes:
- 14.5% wage increases
- Enhanced dental benefits
- Apparel voucher
- Better workplace policies
If ratified, it goes to the VTA Board for approval.
This year, Memorial Day holds deeper meaning for our VTA family, as May 26 marks 4 years since the 2021 heartbreaking tragedy at our Guadalupe Rail Yard, where we lost 10 colleagues. Please join us in a moment of silence to honor their memory at 6:38 a.m., May 26.
