Kid Leather Opera Gloves
French; ca 1880

Opera Gloves were the longest conventional gloves, w/ most measuring 21 - 29" in length. Some even measured 29 - 31" to extend up to the shoulder. The buttons at the wrist (along w/ the kid leather's slight stretch) allowed the wearer to put the gloves on.

"This style of parasol is the ultimate in frivolity and fancifulness. The particularly special element is the lovely carved hand on the spike. It purportedly belonged to a member of the royal family of Austria during Franz-Joseph's reign (1830-1916), emperor of Austria from 1848-1916."

NEW JERSEY has no restrictions on pregnancy stage regarding Abortion. NJ's Domestic Violence rate is on par w/ US Avg - 35.8% of NJ women exp DV. Some areas in NJ lack DV shelter access. NJ has strong gun restrictions & Extreme Risk Order Protection laws to protect victims.

Women w/ unintended pregnancies are 2-4 times more likely to experience physical violence than those w/ wanted pregnancies. Up to 37.6% of teen girls experience Intimate Partner Violence while pregnant or during the year preceding delivery.

MICHIGAN has no pregnancy stage restrictions regarding Abortion. MI's Domestic Violence rate is on par w/ the US Avg - 36% of MI women exp DV. MI lacks DV shelter access in many areas. In 2024, MI established an Extreme Risk Protection Order law & tightened gun laws to protect victims.
