We worked in coalition w Manasota Re-Entry Project, PSL Tampa Bay, & BLM Grassroots Florida to construct the Walk A Mile monuments, where we displayed them in a ceremony in Sarasota to honor victims of police violence. The monuments were displayed in MN during the George Floyd Festival this summer.

Today, we remember George Floyd on his birthday, October 14th. He was murdered in 2020 by a white MN police officer who pressed his knee to George’s neck for 9+ minutes while he was handcuffed face down in the street. We stand firmly against police violence. You will not be forgotten, George Floyd.
