WHAT AM I ALLOWED TO DRAW?

Most things are permitted so long as your target has indicated them on their character card. If you ever have any doubts, just reach out to the character's creator to check if they're alright with what you have in mind.
Event mods can facilitate this through the @ModMail function on discord.

Totally prohibited topics are:
• Non-con. CNC is permitted, provided there is some indication of consent, whether in accompanying text or something visually indicated in the artwork.
• Images involving children or children-appearing characters (under 18 years)

HOW DO I ENGAGE OTHERS?

After the contest begins on September 10th, create an image of their OC and post it to Bluesky, tag your target, @artfuck.bsky.social and add the tags #artfuckengagement and your corresponding team. Team tags will be provided when teams are assigned.

Make sure you only draw the character in situations mentioned within the character card and if you have any doubts, reach out to the creator to run an idea by them. You can also use @ModMail on discord to contact them anonymously.

Same goes for posting the art. Obviously you'll have to post to Bluesky, but if you intend to share the art elsewhere, reach out to the character's creator to be sure they're comfortable having it posted on other platforms. If you have art made of your character then exchange the same courtesy to the artist before posting to new other platforms.

SOMEONE ENGAGED ME. NOW WHAT?

Somebody drew your character and now you don't know what to do. Our suggestion? Retaliate! There is a small score bonus on your first retaliation.

That means if someone engages your character, you automatically get bonus points for engaging theirs in return!

What that doesn't mean is that you can keep racking up the bonus on each subsequent retaliation though. Just the first time!

SCORING CHEAT SHEET

[image has a chart breaking down how pieces are scored. An above the shoulder sketch is worth the least, and a rendered, full color, full body image is worth the most.

Modifiers can be added to a piece’s score for participating in events, adding a background, or using one of your tokens (explained below)]

• Background will be scored based on the level of finish.
• Rendering such as cross-hatching and colorless shading will be scored according to effort. A sketch with shading with be worth more than a flat sketch and a cross-hatched ink drawing will be worth more than one without.
• Each player can also use the tag #artfucktoken twice during the competition to give themselves a further bonus.
