I'm thinking about all those who are now unemployed through no fault of their own because this shit show that is our current administration RIF'd them via DOGE. They too are impacted by the loss of Obama Care AND the loss of SNAP benefits Many haven't found new work and rely on public assistance.

To your point however, those who can step outside of the box we're in and engage in systems thinking are desperately needed now to both prepare for more damage anticipated in the next three years AND plan for a better future. Each of us is engaged in one or more interdependent response mechanisms: Inform (tell us what's happening), protest (bear witness, slow damage), triage (reduce impacts to most vulnerable), build networks, (connective systems). We MUST ALSO prepare for more damage & plan for reconstruction. 2/
