Yep. The notion that intellence can be simulated using language alone, even with derived "tokens" is deeply flawed.

It should be for anyone trying to farm or run a business in cyclone country.
I'd like to think a bit of the old common sense will protect locals, who can read the signs. Anyone living in cyclone prone country *should* be prepared.
It's the storms new range that might be a nasty surprise.

An AI summary just gave me completely wrong advice on how to do something.
Had I blindly followed it, it would have been a costly mistake.
Dressing word association up as "AI" is deceptive, although I'm not convinced anyone at board level knows or cares.

We don't have 20 - 30 years of data for our new climate, so for seasonal, we're back to "take care, do your best, try not to die".
Forecasts will still work a week or so out, although maybe less reliably.

Anything on Windows is not secure.
Senior mgmt hate being accountable and having to have years of experience to be qualified, so almost all IT knowledge is now outsourced to dubious consultants.

Since Whitlam, even the "left faction" have been very corporate friendly, bank appeasing, and regressive. They do some lefty window dressing and some Tut tutting, but any progress is as tainted as NACC.
If the Left support gulags, home inflation, extinctions and poverty...what even are they now?

Guitar kit arrived!
Lighter than expected. Neck and fretwork seem excellent, as does all the hardware and pre-done soldering. It should play well.
First up is finding exact neck position to the mm and drilling the only important (scary) holes in this build.

I think there's some truth to the theory that the people actually running things are doing it from the back rooms, and are more evil than stupid.
Maybe they are running out of convincing front men willing to go along with it all, now that they are showing their cards?
