I'm an old fart who lives off grid, loves symphonic metal, rides a motorbike when the Canadian winters allow. Former award-winning journalist, thinking of coming out of retirement and running old-school D&D games again.

Why is May still around? She lost relevance years ago, when she backstabbed a legitimately elected leader with anti-semitic attacks.
If you're using AI slop to promote a product, I will assume the product is slop as well.
The one central staircase philosophy is nothing more than developers pressing rule-makers to reduce safety in the name of profit.
I am so glad that we can rely on competent, accurate umpiring for a game of this import.

If you insult random strangers who disagree with you in public, that may not end well.
Because your post came into my feed?
Lordy, this is why social media is fucked. I give an opinion - a perfectly valid, rational, explained opinion - and you go right for the insults.
You'd not have said that to my face, why say it in print?
If you bothered for six seconds to read .... you'd see I corrected myself.
... and I ain't seeing that now.

And I don't think there's a stat for "doesn't run out fly balls?"

What I'm seeing is a shift in intensity, emotion, and in give-a-damn. That's vital - but immeasurable.
But I don't need to know what Trey Yesavage's ERA is to realize holy crap, what that kid is doing is un-freaking precedented.
I don't need a stat to tell me that VLG is actually playing to his potential. All season long, I've seen the guy lazily run to first base, watch his hits ....
No. It isn't. I read baseball stories now and they are over full of numbers and stats and other junk. I don't follow sports to do math - I follow sports for the emotion.
Sure, ERA/batting average, errors, RISP - those can tell the tale. I get that.
3 things.
1) I fact-checked my statement, and you're correct about Reagon. I am wrong.
2) The first Amendment means the government can't punish you for what you say as long as it doesn't slander. So Fox News had that privilege all along -irrelvant.
3) Your tone is really condescending.
Incorrect. The stat came into use in the eighties.
The First Amendment doesn't apply to private corporations.
The issue is that Reagon removed the FCC requirement for programs that posed as news to actually be factual.
Hence, Fox News.
I'm freaking old-school. The dude is showing up when it matters, and it's bloody obvious. I don't need some garbage excel spreadsheet crap to tell me that.
Hey, if you wanna be a total assclown and steal from people and not pay for it, while expending vast sums of energy creating artificial crap because you lack artistic talent and human integrity, be my guess.
Assclowns that defend use of AI get blocks.
A discovered checkmate. My head is killing me, but this was pat-yerself-onna-back nice.
Rook sacrifice too.
Is four runs enough to handle a Jeff Hoffman implosion in the ninth?

Asking for a few friends. #bluejays
nooooo.....not Jeff "Dinger per outing" Hoffman? #bluejays
