Most of you know I love Camaros, and they sure have looked and performed different over the years, so here’s a list of my least favourite to favourite, based on the major visual updates across generations.

11. 2nd Gen mid 70s (74 here)

Mundane looks and performance vs others. Still nice though.
It actually did happen once this year when I stayed at a hotel… the scotch before bed may have helped lol.
Defeating some of those villains sure felt good.
You know how as lithium ion batteries age and recharge, they slowly lose energy capacity?

Clearly we are the same. The best I can hope for now is a 70%-75% charge, I’m convinced of this. I’ll never get the feeling back of an incredible night’s sleep from my teenage years and 20s. It’s gone forever.
Ok but… Palpatine was pretty obviously planning to extend his life or cheat death through various means since the prequels. Not necessarily something Ben would have spent time putting effort into.
Maybe my favourite comedy from the era. Such a powerful ending too.
Well this was… over 20 years ago. So I may not remember everything perfectly, but I do remember it being extremely frustrating. It could have been as simple as we picked different towns for whatever reason and then had to suffer, as we had invested just enough time to not want to start over.
Was saying this just yesterday… two days really isn’t enough when you’re often pushing off some responsibilities to the weekend because work has taken all your time and energy during the week.
but the game is pretty clunky now, and while I hear it gets quite awesome down the road, I’m holding out for a remake or an offline version. I know I didn’t technically beat this one, but I still felt strongly enough about it to rank it. There were elements I really liked and I do see the potential!
So we found out we could get an airship pass… which I got… or I hit the level you needed to eligible for it (13 or 15), but then you had to do a mission and I was like “nope”. Hours playing alone basically… it just wasn’t what I was looking for. I cancelled my sub and moved on. I did go back once 🧵
But that was just it… they didn’t make it all that easy to play together… I think you started on random servers, and even then had to pick a starting location based on the job you chose? I went with it, and I did end up getting on a server with a buddy… but nowhere near the same location 🧵
First, some of the good things… it was fun to create a character, and the music was fantastic. It’s hard to explain now, but I loved the visuals… even though there were a lot of bland and earthy tones, there was just something gorgeous about it. I was so ready to set out in this world with friends 🧵
Number 18

Final Fantasy 11

This was a game I was very excited about. I played a lot of Ultima Online, and so an online MMORPG set in my favourite RPG series was very exciting. Me and a number of my friends all grabbed the game at launch and were excited to play… but there sure were some issues 🧵
Of all the portable games, I only ever played the original on Game Gear. My friend had it, and as a SNES owner it was my only access to the blood code. I’m excited to try the other portable games.
A game that didn’t gel with me the first time through, but is now one of my favourite in the series.
The dungeons are a lot of fun, and using weapons as tools to navigate your environment is such a great time. It has a TREMENDOUS sound track. Fun, whimsical themes, and badass combat tunes. It’s pretty easy, but can be challenging at times. Underrated characters with personality for what it is.
Number 19

Final Fantasy Mystic Quest

Is it a mainline game? I say yes, because it’s not a series like Crystal Chronicles, etc.

This game is very simple. Touted as a “beginner’s RPG” and “Final Fantasy USA” in Japan I believe. What you get is actually a really fun, light puzzle, turn based RPG 🧵

It actually makes FFX feel a bit slow and cumbersome by comparison. The ending was satisfying, although I kind of hoped for more?

At the end of the day, I’m glad I saw it through and the gameplay really carries this game. Worth a play, but I don’t think I’d go back to it.
But when it was remastered, I played it to the end on Switch. I think when I first played it I stopped a bit too early. The pop star thing takes a backseat for a while, but comes back again towards the end. But at the heart of this game is a decent story with an INCREDIBLE combat system… 🧵

Number 20

Final Fantasy X-2

This game… lol. I gave it a go when it first came out and was so excited because I loved X so much… I knew it had a girl band kind of theme to it… which I wasn’t excited for, but I loved Riku and Yuna, and Paine looked like a great addition.

I gave up on PS2… 🧵

I’ve given it some thought and decided to do my top mainline FF games list that I have finished, and I’ll be going in order of worst to best, and talking about why for each. Game I have played, or played enough of won’t be included. These will include FF13-2 and Lightning Returns.

Enjoy the ride

Oh mint aero is my favourite. Haven’t had it in a while!
Oh yes. Watched my dad play it first when it was new. Had to wait until he was done before I got my chance though because there was only one save back then.
