Seems this app has no option to select theme - dark or white or default to system one. app video feed as such is dark mode however comments section & settings is all white!

Interests- self learning feed that doesn’t show same type of content few times user has disliked that type of content (well right now there is no option of dislike - so hopefully it’s advance enough to decipher by user sickness - quick swipe user hates it/doesn’t like it. Need AI!

Just a feedback - Unfortunately user control hardly works in this bsky app - number of times tapped “show less like this” on posts, videos, hardly effected the feed, & ruins (wastes user time as well) the entire experience of being on this app.

- similar is required where identical posts are grouped in same thread-grouping, so that users can move on to next new topic and not continuously see same image down in the feed as a new post

This platform @bsky.app really needs an algorithm or at a minimum more user control that works to reduce noise & not be an echo chamber.
What’s the point of seeing same image 100s of time only difference being OP is different. Like WhatsApp indicates message forwarded too many times, something

Need good algorithm, else it’s waste of time going over same/similar posts again and again or not relevant (the mute and show less like hardly work or work other way round, the more I click show less like this it keeps showing more of it :( )

It’s tiring tapping ‘show less like this’! If @bsky.app #videofeed is trying to catch up with TikTok it needs to be highly personalized. Currently even after numerous taps on show less like this the feed quality is dismal. Rather than showing everything under the sun show less but relevant content.

Unfortunately without adding monetizing capabilities (ads/shop, sell data), a company cant make money and pay creators, infrastructure cost, employees & then not being a nonprofit generate profit for its investors. Guess depending on how far they took it, users would have abandoned it or continued

There is a difference between publishing videos that show up as posts, and scrolling seamless video feed that TikTok has. Also the algorithm (is it self learning) that learns from either user watch habits or all the data and signals (if so not sure where they sourced the third party data from).

How long for #bluesky training? Instead of showing less of posts where I indicated “show less like this”, hide post, as well adding words to mute list; to avoid going through topics I am not interested in, ithas no effect (maybe gives a feeling of showing more)-guess cud waitfor 2 weeks hereaswell 🙂
