The “A level standard”message is nonsense. Level 3/B2 means being able to express yourself fluently, correctly and appropriately in speaking and writing. It’s a high bar. A level English Lang requires understanding phonology, morphology, pragmatics, genre etc - it’s a very different exam.

It’s over 75s only in Wales too. I’m 74. I have to drive OH to the vaccination centre ( it’s not done locally here) but I can’t be vaxed. I’m planning to pay. 😠
