my theory is that ryota kozuka is the dark evil version of masashi hamazu
- uses complex sus voicings
- came in to fill the shoes of a jrpg series’ famous composer and ended up building his own identity
- less melodic than previous composer but super memorable and distinct

but that’s just a theory
