I’m transferring old Twitter/X posts to bsky, but I’m deleting posts that were negative or weren’t tech related. My intent with Twitter/X was always to have a positive outlet for sharing ideas with like-minded people. So please bear with me as I clean things up over the next few days/weeks.

You may look at this picture and see a murderer, some others may see him as a hero for middle class healthcare…all I see is that Jake Peralta from the 99 finally caught his man (cop on the right).

How are you digging bsky so far, Jeff?
I actually made a shield/counter build just to beat him after 4 hrs of trying (pre-patch). I couldn’t understand why I was getting hit even after rolling. Seems like FS patched that bug, and made him slower.
Your TV setup really seems to have improved over the last few years. It looks great!
It’s time to finally make the switch, and pull the plug on Twitter. I’ll be trying to find familiar contacts to follow back here, but it may take a little bit.
Anyone know what each of these testpoints are for, before I get started with putting a little test switch/button on top of this thing? @MigSwitch #MIGSwitch

@ModernVintageG or @SpawnWaveMedia, any ideas?
We lost our best friend and companion at 8:30 on the 8th, and sadness overwhelms my heart right now. It was sudden...he collapse to the floor from an unforeseen ruptured mass near his heart. 2 hours later, he was gone. I fucking hate cancer so much. So many people I grew up with
My issue with #Rabbit #R1 is the straight up trolling keynote they had a few months back. You know the one, where they planned a vacation itinerary with modifications. The audacity to go on stage like a Steve Jobs clone while promising non-existent features.

It will be a lot easier to flash this card going forward...
I don’t see anything wrong here…right?

Jumping J7 on a #mellanox #connectx6 card to load new FW. This is what happens with you buy 100G cards on eBay. Sometimes you’ve gotta be a little creative… 🤷🏻‍♂️ ☺️
Is anyone else out there using Kea/Stork for DHCP management in their home lab?
Adding IPv6 back into the lab for some troubleshooting scenarios this week (via HE tunnels). It’s amazing that in 2023/24 we can have 100G, SR-IOV attached VMs running via Kubernetes in our #homelab environments. Thinking about doing a blog/video on this topic, including
When non-gaming IT folks are gobbling up an already strained RTX/GPU second-hand market, you know NVIDIA is playing their hype game correctly.
It’s depressing that we have to pad a week or so of downtime after conferences for being sick. It’s the new normal. But at least it was worth it and I learned a lot of cool things at this latest NVIDIA GTC. Plus, my wife has been amazing…leaving CNS at the door downstairs. ❤️🥰
I’m sitting here at the NVIDIA GTC, learning all the new AI things on #k8s, but I’m missing all the amazing folks at #KubeCon. What an awesome community, with some great people! It looks like a reunion of OGs in Paris. ☺️
While everyone else seems to be at other conferences this past week, I thought I’d try something new this year. #GTC2024 #NVIDIA="/hashtag/NVIDIAGTC" class="hover:underline text-blue-600 dark:text-sky-400 no-card-link">#NVIDIAGTC #NVIDIA
I love that @Level1Techs mentioned #OpenShift #Virtualization and VDI. There’s so much that people aren’t aware that OpenShift can do with virtualization. I should do some more videos here soon to show folks what can be done (it’s a lot better than you probably realize)!
Hey #homelab folks…what are you using to store your unused PCIe cards? I’d like to see what others are doing, or if you have prints you can share.
Back in the day you started off with some Raspberry Pis or some NUCs, and a few years later you're running Dell T-series servers packed to the gills with ConnectX-6 and E810 100G NICs, NVIDIA GPUs, and Intel RAN cards for "research and development" purposes. 🤦🏻‍♂️ #homelab
Anyone else going to this years GDC by chance?
I'm assuming this is USB as well (or am I mistaken, and this is serial)? I've seen other BF2 cards that have USB soldered to the 4 available pads just behind where this vertical connector sits on the PCB.

Do you or anyone you know happen to know what UART connector the @nvidia #bluefield2 #DPU has by chance? I'm having a ard time trying to find/create this connector. It looks like a JST of some type? I can't find much on this...
This is one of the coolest mini SFF Intel-based packet-slingers I’ve ever owned. The @Hi_MINISFORUM MS-01. Kitted with an Intel X710-T4 card for 6x10G + 2x2.5G networking, and 2xNVMe (with a U.2 drive in the way)! It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for…
