A big bowl of pho with some extra sriracha sauce will most definitely clear your head and open up those sinuses. It's also one of the best hangover cures you're likely to find. Feel better soon, Josef! 👍

Is this, by chance, the pastry near and dear to your heart? 👨‍🍳
Color photograph of several Pistachio Paris-Brest pastries, poised atop a cooling rack. The delectable features a round, pistachio cookie that has been sliced in half horizontally, after which a layer of pistachio cream filling is piped between the discs, and a small swirl of the same cream on top of the finished pastry secures several shelled pistachio nut halves. Mmmmm!

The pastry is named for the Paris-Brest-Paris cycling endurance race that has been staged every four years since 1891. The 750-mi. event is older than the Tour de France, and requires athletes to complete the ride in under 70 hours, for their performance to be officially recorded. 😎

That's alright. I often call Rep. Scalise a "hate America” congressman. 🤨

We must remain vigilant, checking and rechecking all results provided by Chat GPT, Gemini, and the like, until safeguards can be introduced to prevent content hallucinations and incorrect answers to queries. 🤨

I view AI in much the same way Americans in the 1920s probably viewed internal combustion automobiles.

The potential upside is beyond imagination. But the early Model Ts and such had a lot of unforeseen issues, and the general public was skeptical of 'horseless carriages' for a good many years. 😎

TPM makes an excellent point! Massive organizations such as those in the U.S. gov't are very unwieldy, and so they respond slowly to ever-changing circumstances.

The protest organizers need to keep changing things up, every day, so ICE and the ANG troops cannot get a read on what's coming next! 😎💪

The secret power of a people’s movement is that it’s random.

It’s neighbors protecting immigrants from ICE. It’s millions canceling Disney+. It’s a man throwing a sandwich. It’s inflatable frogs dancing.

Dictators struggle to fight a movement, because they can’t do what they want most—control us.

Thanx, jag, for the heads-up on these helpful apps!

I downloaded something similar to UBlock Origin, many years ago, but one day the company that produced the app disappeared, and with it the software. 😕

Here's a free & unlocked link to the same Daily Beast story, for those who may not be able to see this entire piece:

Couldn't happen to a more deserving individual!

At this point, a nice, long prison sentence would be the cherry atop this disgusting 💩 sundae! C'mon, Lady Karma, you can do it!

Yeah, you're probably right. *sigh*

Where’s that buzzsaw that just ripped through our treasury to the tune of $20B of our tax dollars for Musk’s buddy?

Meanwhile, our government is shut down because the GOP is ripping affordable healthcare from millions of Americans.

Make Argentina Great Again.
A man in a black suit with blue tie stands next to a taller man in a blue suit with red tie. Both are raising their hands in a sign Oregon’s up in a room with paintings with gaudy gold gold lead frames. As jumbo jet plane model lies on a coffee table in front of them. Man with black suit and t-shirt holding a gold plated buzz saw next to a man with a blue suit with tie holding up both of his thumbs. Man in a navy blue jacket with a space logo on it standing next to a man with lamb chop sideburns and a leather jacket holding up both of his hands with a thumbs up gesture.

I'll have to take your word for it on that one. 😄

What would it take to push a certain angry, wannabe fascist and pedophile into self-harm? Hypothetically speaking, of course. 🤔

Might I suggest the Italian libs find some wealthy philanthropist to keep 'Georgie the 🍈' supplied, free of charge, with more heavy tar, heavy nicotine cigarettes than she could possibly smoke. Karma will take care of the rest.

Camel: "Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike, Mike... guess what day it is!"

Bird (apparently named Mike): "It's Hump Day." *heavy sigh* 🤦‍♂️

The saddest past of this entire episode? The fact that 'Dopey McGropey' and his pal, the malevolent muskrat, have made the same kind of disaster relief funding cuts in many other catastrophe-prone geographic areas of the U.S.

His personal motto: "Sympathy for me, but nothing of the sort for thee."

I don't doubt the family's story for a moment.

These are NOT highly trained and well-disciplined professional soldiers! They're what's known in military parlance as "weekend warriors." By many accounts, half of those now deployed on the streets of American cities are violence-inclined thugs. 😠
