The U.S. system of single Rep districts allows politicians to choose their voters. The whole thing needs to be scrapped and replaced with proportional representation. Other countries' voters are represented by more than two parties. Meanwhile we've had six epochs of two-party rule.

Yeah, itbseems like I have heard far more horror stories with them in the last six months than I heard in he previous ten years. If they are acknowledging you paid and didn't get tickets, and they are refusing to make you whole, you should start the credit card dispute without delay.

COO tried to get me fired at a startup using the annual review process. After my two managers talked to every manager in the company to gather evidence against me I got a 22% raise that had to be approved by the Board. I still left, knowing someone in the C-suite was openly out to get me.
