Republicans won't even sit down to negotiate. The government can't stay shut down forever. This would show the Republican voters what Democrats were fighting for. While all the blame falls on Republicans when Americans can't afford health insurance.

The first CR would have been a much better time for a government shutdown. It would have stopped Trump from accomplishing so much of project 2025. Schumer is worthless. We have bigger issues with ICE terrorists. They should not be allowed to wear masks. They should be proud of what they're doing.

Unfortunately, I think it's time to pass a clean CR. Everyone got the message. Let Republicans own this huge price increase in health insurance premiums. The only way to wake some people up is lots of financial pain. I do hate this for anyone who voted for Harris. Federal workers have bills to pay.

Republicans claim we can't afford healthcare for our citizens. A ballroom, no problem. 20 billion to Argentina, sure. Feeding American children (Republicans we can't afford that). It's always the same thing with Republicans anything that helps American, they will say we can't afford.
