Ethan's a foul-mouthed disaster, while Baptiste is a perky airhead with no sense of boundaries, so both are equally annoying in different ways! The two of them being vampires just makes things worse for all the humans around them...

A pair of vampires from my webcomic, the Undeath of Me. Baptiste is very proud of the matching kitty-ear hats he has knitted for himself and Ethan. Ethan stands grumpily next to him, resigned to the fact that he has to wear one.

A non-canonical comic strip for my webcomic, the Undeath of Me, featuring Baptiste and Ethan as ghosts for Halloween!

Ethan, going the more stereotypical route, has draped himself with a polka-dotted bedsheet, complete with eyeholes. The patches he's sewn on are all speckled with blood, since he kept stabbing himself with the needle by accident.

Baptiste's costume is far more extravagant. His aristocratic suit is torn and ragged, and has a reflective sheen. Broken chains dangle from his wrists. He has used contacts and eyeshadow to give his face a more haunting look. Smiling brightly at Ethan, he says, "What do you think of my ghost costume?!"

Salty over how much more impressive Baptiste's costume is, Ethan double-handedly flips him off as well as he can from beneath the bedsheet. Baptiste's smile turns into the saddest of frowns.

More Halloween art for the Undeath of Me, this time featuring costumes readers voted for in 2021!

Lilibeth, dressed as a gothic mermaid, stands by irritably while Baptiste walks off with a flailing Ethan over his shoulder. Baptiste has chosen to be a pirate for Halloween. Ethan is technically a merman, but barely looks the part, since all he did was wrap leftover fabric from Lilibeth's costume around his waist and add a few accessories, including a trident too broken for duct tape to fix.

Jay is dressed as a jack-in-the-box for Halloween, while Spencer is a blood-splattered ventriloquist dummy. Spencer has glomped onto Jay from behind, all smiles. Jay simply stands there awkwardly, unable to look away from the off-panel horrors before him.

Halloween art for my webcomic, the Undeath of Me, featuring costumes readers voted for in 2020!

Baptiste has dressed up as a devil for Halloween, complete with horns and a pristine red suit. Ethan is a bedraggled angel, the broken halo on his head barely holding on with duct tape. Muffling Ethan in the middle of an F-bomb, Baptiste says, "Stay in character!"

Ethan celebrating Halloween with his wife, Lilibeth, back when he was still human. Lilibeth is dressed as a black cat, while Ethan is a witch. He uses a broom to keep her pressed against him, their gazes locked. Their costumes won't be staying on for long.

My characters, Spencer and Jay, dressed as a prince and fairy for Halloween. Jay watches helplessly as a smirking, bloodstained Spencer thrusts an even bloodier sword in front of his face.

Hard to say. For the most part, I'd consider Point Horror more cozy than terrifying, but quality can vary a lot amongst the authors, so it really just depends! As someone who adores spooky stories with a campy '90s vibe, I can't get enough of 'em, haha.

Never had a chance to read this series myself, but I've seen others talk about Twilight: Where Darkness Begins before, and it always sounded great! Point Horror is definitely something I'm familiar with, though--loved those growing up and still collect used copies from this imprint when I can!
