Continuum: My Personal Odyssey ©

My visual journal, an uninterrupted flow of thoughts, images, and fragments of time.Photography, words, and art intertwine in a silent dialogue, narrating the imperceptible, the fleeting, the unspoken.Continuum is a breath, a rhythm, a perpetual motion of the soul.

The Sorceress by Jan van de Velde II (1626).

A young sorceress mid-conjure with a motley crew of demonic “familiars”, one of which is sporting two pipes from his bum, both streaming with powders in elegant arcs: https://publicdomainreview.org/collection/the-sorceress-jan-van-de-velde

A utility pole stands vertically in the center of the image. It is a slender structure with several attachments, including metal brackets and small lights, mounted on a dark background. The lower section of the image features a flat, light-colored surface that contrasts with the dark upper section.

"À quoi ça sert de lire. À rien ou presque. C'est comme aimer, comme jouer. C'est comme prier. Les livres sont des chapelets d'encre noire, chaque grain roulant entre les doigts, mot après mot. Et c'est quoi, au juste, prier. C'est faire silence. C'est s'éloigner de soi dans le silence."

Word.
I don't think my doodles are in either camp. But about 2017 I was bored an thought I'd like to get better at drawing. Decided I'd do 4 a day. Those early ones were not good! 'cringe or suck' if you will. But a few years practice, I think they did get a bit better. (couple recent ones) 🤖😀👋
4 post-its. Top left woman in dress. Top left floating robot with confused signals. Lower left, floating robot who seems pretty happy. Lower right, floating robot who seems a little shocked at what he's seeing. Black ink on pink post-it. Lady with preposterously long eyelashes looking to her right (camera left) Mascara smudge from an unintentional finger-drag.
