Happy October 1st! I'm going to shamelessly promote some of my spooky T-shirt designs. Like them? Then, buy them here:

Moxfield says this is a Bracket 3, because of Fierce Guardianship. It might be. Sometimes it feels like it, but often it just spins its wheels and doesn't feel like it's actually doing anything. It's a weirdo.

It's also still new feeling to me, so I won't be disassembling it any time soon. 4/5
Pet Cards! Looking through this deck, I don't feel like I have any strong pet cards. Most everything in here is either in support of the wheel mechanic or fits some other basic need, like removal or ramp. That said, there are some cards, like the ones below, where the version I have is pretty. 3/5
This deck wants to use wheel effects as often as possible, to maximize the effects of cards that care about card draw. It's a little slow to start, but once it gets going, it starts getting bonkers. Honestly, it sort of feels out of control half the time, and I just try to hang on. 2/5
Day 10: "Wheel of Fire"

After building several typal decks in a row, I decided I wanted to build a mechanic-focused deck. Drawing cards is good, so what is the fastest way to draw cards? Wheeling them. Who cares if you can play them. Thus, my Arjun deck was born. 1/5

Glad someone is doing God's work.
Here's the official deck list on Moxfield:

(For those wondering Sword of Fire and Ice is in my Cube, and I don't own Sword of Wealth and Power yet.) 5/5
You Don't Even Know What the Dragon Sword Does! - Commander (Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist / Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh)
A deck created using Moxfield.

Moxfield says this deck is a Bracket 2, though the sword-centric nature of it almost makes it Bracket 1-ish. Frankly, this deck is a serious Glass Cannon and it's a coin toss as to if it goes off or tanks. I don't play it a ton and is maybe the closest deck I have to being on the chopping block. 4/5
Pet Cards! The Swords are all sort of pet cards. Beyond that, Sword of the Animist is on brand, but I deliberately tracked down this version. Both Urza's Saga and Mishra's Factory are also being run mainly because I have nifty versions of them. 3/5
At one point I became obsessed with collecting all the Mirroden swords, and this deck is basically just an excuse to run most of them. There's 9 here and they make up a good percentage of equipment I can attach to Rograkh.

Day 9: "You Don't Even Know What the Dragon Sword Does!"

Another partner Commander deck, with Ardenn & Rograkh in an equipment-themed deck. The plan is to equip things to Rograkh and go to work. The deck's name is something friends of mine overheard shouted at a game store. 1/5 #CommanderADay #MTG
Moxfield says this is a Bracket 2, but it's the closest I have to a Bracket 1. It can start strong but never seems to keep up in the late game. But my focus is still more on "pretty" cards and Unicorns than making it good.

It makes me happy, so I won't ever take it apart, even if it never wins. 4/5
Pet Cards! This deck has a lot of pet cards, here's a few:
I opened Spectra Ward in an early pre-release. I'm not saying it's good, but I love playing it. I opened this miscut Karametra on my first night playing Magic, my first Mythic. Sleeved with Lathiel is a Japanese version I got in Japan. 3/5
Nominally, this is Unicorn typal with lifegain & +1/+1 counters. But, in reality it is just an excuse to run every unicorn I can find and then pair it up with foil lands and whatever pretty full art or Secret Lair cards I can make a vague excuse to include. This deck is about being fancy! 2/5
I opened a unicorn while playing Pack Wars one day, and joked "I wonder if it's possible to make a unicorn themed deck?" A week later I'd pulled the first version of this Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn deck together. 1/5

I might pull a card or two from it but won't likely take it apart. What else would I do with my Sliver cards?

Here's the full deck list on Moxfield:

Note that I'm currently running no basic lands. That's probably a mistake. 5/5
Better Living Through Slivers - Commander (Sliver Queen)
A deck created using Moxfield.
moxfield.com
Moxfield says it's a Bracket 3, because of Cyclonic Rift. Yeah, this is the deck I run Cyclonic Rift in, since I'm not making friends anyway. The deck might be powerful, but frankly just saying "I'm playing slivers" makes me the bad guy and I get pubstomped in, like, round 4. So, maybe it sucks. 4/5
Pet cards! Almost any non-Sliver, non-land card in this deck feels like a pet card. That said, Wrenn is only in here because of mana fixing and the fact it's a full art card. Likewise, I love the art on this Secret Lairs Wrath of God. 3/5
The strategy for this one is tricky, you see, first, you have to... oh, who am I kidding! This deck is just about being obnoxious and playing Slivers! There's 33 in the main deck, currently. I avoid buying individual ones and just put in ones I incidentally come across. So, it's not optimized. 2/5
Day 7: "Better Living Through Slivers"

I bought a small collection from someone and buried in the shoebox of cards was a Sliver Queen. I took one look at it, said "whelp, I guess I'm going to be *that guy*" and went to work building a Slivers deck. 1/5

Quit enabling him, you horndog. He's just not that into you.
That's one hell of a campaign slogan.
One of the advantages of getting is old finally getting to be able to make fun of old people!
There goes nature, just makin' weird shit up again.
