And see, that exact same game was infuriating to me because Mark Wegner was by far the most valuable person on the field for the Dodgers (he was worth 2/3 of a run to them in a game in which a total of three runs were scored).

I also find the Peggy Hill "Phoenix is a monument to man's arrogance" environmentalist argument really frustrating, because the reason Arizona is running out of water is that 70% of it goes to grow fucking alfalfa, but we do not have to resort to noble savage bullshit to make that case.
