I thought about throwing in a proviso about electronics, but they really only get cheaper as they get outdated, and the money shifts instead to whatever is replacing it. Sure, you can buy a good Blu-Ray player for like $50 these days. But you're paying like $400 a month for internet and streamers.

Costs never come down. It is a fool's errand to promise lower costs. Remember when a Coke cost 5 cents?

That ain't happening again. Inflation is a one-way valve. You can throttle that valve, and you can crank it open. But the costs never, ever go backwards through the valve.

Wages are for chumps, Chris. The real money is in capital, which gets taxed at far lower rates.

Eliminate separate treatment of capital gains and estates, then tax everything at the recipient level as ordinary income on a graduated basis.
