Democrats may not have all the answers, but at least we believe in good governance! I will never stop writing about politics, but it can be depressing, so I'm branching out into Hallmark movie reviews, as in #HallmarkHaven, and I love #FinePhotography!

Is it TOO weird that HELL and HEAVEN both begin with "HE?"
I literally had to turn on the closed captioning to know what the hell they were talking about! And the problem with that approach is that the closed captioning backgrounds are relatively large blue rectangles which make seeing certain parts of certain plays impossible!
@maddow.msnbc.com: I've said this before, but the thing I truly hate about college football is the stupid bands! If you listen to this clip, toward the end of it the announcers are making some kind of point about I think the offensive unit? But you literally can't hear a word of it! Turn up the mic!

@maddow.msnbc.com: I'm certain the White House and the hard right will use Senator Sanders' speech as proof that the NO KINGS movement is just a vast left-wing conspiracy, but it's so massive and so inclusive of all democratic (with a small d) points of view, that the smear campaign just won't work!
@maddow.msnbc.com: I've got all the news on my DVR, but I haven't had a chance to watch it yet. This reminds me of the 1960s! My mother and sister and I used to march for the Congress Of Racial Equality or CORE. It was always non-violent, and I truly hope the same will be true of today's NO KINGS!
Jason Stanley is a major philosophy professor at the University of Toronto in Canada (obviously) and this image is a photo of the cover for his latest book, "ERASING HISTORY: How Fascists Rewrite the Past To Control the Future!" He also wrote the bestselling "How Fascism Works."
@maddow.msnbc.com: I missed the first part of this interview and the ending cuts off because of the sub-3 minute Bluesky limit, but you should check out this @velshimsnbc.bsky.social (who no longer uses @velshi.bsky.social, it seems) interview of Jason Stanley from Toronto University on YouTube.
@maddow.msnbc.com: The Republican Party seems to have followed the lead of Donald Trump and started lying about virtually everything, in the mistaken belief that the citizens of the United States of America won't notice or care! Happily, facts are extremely stubborn things! Here is a BIG FUN FACT:
I forgot to mention, if you ARE willing to risk being offended by these two affectionate young men, on the same page that the hashtag link takes you to, in the upper right corner of your screen, you will see the word "Latest." Please click on THAT and accept my apologies! (I hope...)
@maddow.msnbc.com: I have something to say about this side project, #FinePhotography, which I started to help a friend. The hashtag takes you to a page that some may find offensive. There is a photo of two non-pornographic young men, naked in bed, which I object to because it's not fine photography!

One more thing:

You can't even see the entire transferred photo on Bluesky, but as long as you don't click or double click on the image itself, you won't leave Bluesky!
Sorry! I was wrong. It appears to be impossible to transfer photos from Threads, but what it does do is take you BACK from Bluesky to the original posting on Threads, which is kind of manipulative!

#FinePhotography: I didn't realize I could transfer beautiful photographs from Threads.

#FinePhotography: Another brilliant skyscape by Leevi Jones! What I really like about this photograph is the depth of the sky, which recedes from the shoreline for many miles. I also like photos that show evidence of some human activity, like the boat on the water. Wow!
Drifting under the painted skies, where the ocean meets the calm of the evening.
#FinePhotography: This is the kind of mood piece I love from this photographer! She captures what appears to be an intimate park or private property, with a paved driveway that literally leads your eye into the photo. I have no idea how she created the way the Sun appears, but it's brilliant!
Bathed in the golden glow of the morning sun, the city awakens in quiet elegance.
@maddow.msnbc.com: I hope Stephen Colbert, the Late Show Band and his 200+ member staff are preparing for an early departure! Trump is not going to like this. Let me rephrase, Trump is going to hate this, and only God and maybe the devil knows what he'll try to do!
#FinePhotography: My question with this lovely shot would be where exactly was the photographer standing? Presumably, not in the middle of the torrent, but I've never been there! Exquisitely beautiful no cow or locale as the Google Machine wishes! Go GM! Just go...
@maddow.msnbc.com: Glennn Thrush of the New York Times is another great reporter of the Jack Smith saga, though he appears to be too smart to have a Bluesky account, or maybe I'm just too dumb to find it! Again, sub-3 minute video rules apply. (Phones should have sub-3 minute limiters!)
@maddow.msnbc.com: One of the best no-nonsense reporters on @MSNBC and NBC News, who covers the Justice Department, is @kendilanian-nbc.bsky.social. This video clip exceeds Bluesky's sub-3 minute limit, but it captures most of the Jack Smith dirt on Trump!
I suppose the question we're faced with is, can pink comforters talk?
I think complements works better than compliments, though they are both technically correct, in my OCDisordered opinion!
#FinePhotography: OK, I don't often include kitties in this part of my Bluesky account, but catching Blair mid-yawn (presumably, because it doesn't seem like a snarl) took some patience and impeccable timing! Plus, the pink comforter compliments the nose, lips(?), gums, tongue, toe pads, everything!
@maddow.msnbc.com: Because of blue skies (Really?) or Bluesky's lack of self-awareness and its limitation of sub-3 minute videos, I had to cut the most quotable part of the @newyorkstateag.bsky.social speech. Here's a thought: Letitia James for president in 2028! Also, Andrew Weissmann for AG!

@maddow.msnbc.com: Who doesn't love the @newyorkstateag.bsky.social, without naming names, kickin' the orange ass**** where it hurts him most, his tattered ego and reputation! I personally love her occasional use of the ghetto suffix, -suh or -nuh or simply -uh! Go Letitia James!
@nicollewallace.bsky.social: Just what you need, huh? A fan telling you how to spend the free time on your weekends! It could be done via Zoom, so no need for a studio, but just remember, it was your decision to start the best people podcast, so it's all your fault! But the fact is that we love you!
@maddow.msnbc.com: Since losing my lovely job as an Uber driver, I can't afford to listen to podcasts! Here's an idea:
You are an insanely talented and successful star, @nicollewallace.bsky.social, so why not talk @MSNBC into broadcasting an hour long weekend show of "The Best People?"
