I recently switched to Bazzite and it's been basically plug and play. The only thing I had to do anything to get working was my very old Logitech G13 keypad, but I had to do some weird stuff to get that working on Windows too, so...

Learn how to pogo. Use the downward attack on enemies and some environmental objects and it'll send you back into the air.

Takes some getting used to, but it opens up a LOT of options for movement and combat.
