Having one of those days. Watching my PC restart for an hour so far. Listened to the same PPT presentation with 4 videos to make sure I had fixed the crashing. Can’t move my Mac until it’s done backing up. Sighs.

But it keeps making me think that I see people who are fit, and people who are just starting journeys to fitness. I rarely see people like me who are older, stalled, and simply doing their damnedest to stay active and moving despite not being ripped. It tempts me.

The algorithms have decided that since I am interested in food/cooking and in high protein/lower sugar recipes, I must love fitness influencers. I've managed to tune it to GOOD folks (ones who're reasonable and recognize food is fuel, NOT inherently evil, and yes, we need things like preservatives).

Second, getting the highlights done plus a cut is a 3.5 hour appointment. You heard that right. It takes that long.

That said, my person does a PHENOMENAL job and I cannot WAIT. Going back to teal/green tones again after a summer of purple.

Finally made an appointment to get my hair cut and highlighted in a week and a half. My last appointment? Early February... whoops. My hair got LONG.

Why did it take so long? Well, first of all, I have very curly hair, so I get it cut after 3 months at the earliest... I trim my own bangs.

We have a 10k week every month as part of the WWM writing server. This month I decided that y'know, ANYTHING counts as a stretch compared to my usual. Specifically, I need to make a writing/editing plan AND I need to write a blog post.

But really. Lately, anything is a stretch. #goals #writinggoals

I'm working on updating my bibliography page on my professional website. It's better, but still in flux. I'll post when it's finalized. Meanwhile, please excuse the mess while I renovate!

All of my partners for TKD so far this week have been taller than me. This means lots of head kick height practice while doing body kicks. It also means my shoulders ache like WHOA from holding (height and power). Owies?

I am so tired of stress-induced tension headaches. Add in hyperextending where my shoulders can go easily during class last night (hard to hold targets when you're short) and the back of my neck hurts so damned much. Yes, I'm whiny. It's hard to do writing tasks when my head aches. I'm cranky. :(
