It must have been somewhere between 25-30 years old I think. Maybe I was just unlucky and the fujichromes were usually stored better than the kodak slides? I got both from one seller and the fuji slides seem to fare much better.
I've shot heavily expired Kodak E200 in South Korea, but just like usually with old Kodak transparencies, they turned out as magenta monochromes. But quite like these as B&W!

Two vertical color photos with no border between them - the first one looks up a steep rocky path with a metal railing in foggy conditions and my wife holding on to the railing to the left, the other looks straight onto a rock ravine in the fog - you can just about make out a suspension foot bridge With people on it in the distance

Indeed, but who knows, maybe this will look interesting in another 50 years!
Loved this little shack for relaxing and admiring the view on the border of North Jeolla and South Chungcheong provinces, apparently you rent it and get a key to it somewhere.

I’ve been back from my 3-week trip to South Korea for a bit now, but only just starting to settle into normal life. It was an amazing time, and I can’t wait to share the photos! Here’s a little Eggleston homage I snapped on the way there to start things off

Fun read! I'm assuming in this case it's not nearly as bad, I just noticed the blue and red blotches around the grain which at least seem to be the result of old fashioned film scanning

We're yin and yang 😅
Also, white balancing seems a little harsh. DP of the film has overseen it, so I'm sure it agrees with the overall vision of Kubrick plus I have no experience of watching the original 35 mm projection, but something seems off.
Have you guys seen the discourse around the new Criterion edition of Eyes Wide Shut? They brought back the grain, which seems great, but... ok, I don't know anything about film stocks or remastering but doesn't that look like they introduced some color noise when rescanning the 35mm? #believeinfilm

That's how I'm using it 90% of the time, but I like to have it on hand if I want to do closer focus!
