Whitecaps are guaranteed to qualify via MLS. LAFC can no longer top the Whitecaps. The Whitecaps are guaranteed to finish top 5 in the Supporters' Shield standings, and since one of those teams is Inter Miami, who have already qualified through Leagues Cup, their spot falls back to the next-best.
