And one or more of Caissie or Alcantara or Ballesteros ought to be able to provide decent DH power, maybe even for a whole season, at a tenth of the salary.
Jeff Probst: "Ugh, S14: Fiji was the worst!"

Also Jeff Probst: Furiously tries to recreate those same conditions every season.

(Personally, I like Fiji *despite* the twists, but definitely not because of them.)
#Survivor49 I feel like if you're calling it that, there needed to be 42 total blocks.
From Paramount+, the RC/IC in Ep4 of Survivor 49 was called "Stackie Robinson"
#Survivor49 I can't say the swap worked out the most interesting way possible, but two tribes of seven was a very nice thing to have, finally.
#Survivor49 Wait, a pistol is one of the voting booth options? This changes everything.

Andrew, we're voting you off the island and back to the suburbs.

Our new ad just aired during Survivor.
#Survivor49 No ball and chain? Did the people responsible for the idol retrieval tasks at Hina just call it a half day and skip a few steps, or... ?
#Survivor49 I'm glad that the NuKele tribe managed a win, because it would have been really dumb if the tribe artificially set up to lose actually did. (They still should have been at Uli.)
#Survivor49 The group balance beam portion of this challenge was also in #SurvivorAU: Australia v The World. (Which filmed four months after 49.) Weird!
The Aussie tribe transporting blocks in AU v The World's Ep2 IC.
If I recall correctly, he might have actually used that phrase in 48, too. Very odd to suddenly change nomenclature, although maybe he forgot while it was banished during the early new era.
#Survivor49 Jeff Probst: "I had to keep taking Kele's flint because they didn't EaRn It."

Also Jeff Probst: "Four out of six Hinas? You earned too much. No flint or rewards for you."
#Survivor49 Not sure how I feel about Jeff Probst time-traveling back to 2001 and calling it a "tribe switch" instead of a swap.
#Survivor49 The ocean: "Oh, you guys are still talking about shoe bandits? *I'LL* show you a shoe bandit."
Some parts of internet history should probably be forgotten.
Leetspeak version of “EarnIt!”
Aw, I was guessing “34rn1t!” So close.
“Look, I know it’s weird to send half the cast to the disaster tribe’s empty beach, but we’re not going to learn if the sea krait has now developed a taste for human flesh any other way.”
Thank you! "Shoepacabra" is perfect, but I had a vague feeling I'd heard it before, and I couldn't place it. (This is the problem with multitasking while listening to podcasts, I guess.)
I’m mostly worried that Alex or Sophi misses the days of one shoe moving 10 feet, and decide to reenact it.
The next two #Survivor49 episode titles sound like call and response:
Ep4: "Go Kick Rocks, Bro"
Ep5: "I'm a Wolf, Baby"

And then Ep6 is the alarming "The Devil's Shoes" (just when you thought the bandit was gone...)
#Survivor49 Seems like "Act One of a Horror Film" was an accurate title.

Petition to make both the LCS series interleague, so we can have Blue Jays-Mariners in the World Series instead.
At least it wasn’t the same outcome after 15 innings.
#Survivor49 The dumb thing about the new era's combination of always-three-tribes and "you have to EARN it" thing is: Uli won exactly the same number of challenges as Kele: zero. But Uli had food and fire and comfort items and just got to chill for six days.
