I was once having dinner at a friend’s house and we watched as the family cat sit on the ledge like yours and he flicked the lit candles, one by one causing the curtains to go up in 🔥! Dinner was over. Please be careful kitty however beautiful you are .

You will find a magical forest path in Haliburton, Ontario at Glebe Park, called the “Haliburton Sculpture Forest”. Totally unexpected unique carvings and metal artworks are scattered through an easily walkable 1.4 km path. Highly recommended!

I looove my blue willow dishes. Both nostalgic and fresh ❤️. When I turned 50 I had a garden party because it was during Covid. It was a day I’ll never forget . I recommend eating on good dishes in the garden more often . Use candles and flowers. 💐 magical . Make a playlist of your life and play it

I’m drawn to read tombstones to see who lies in peace with interesting tales from beyond. Some very young, some very old, some snarky graveside etchings and some interesting gifts 🎁 left by visitors .

I’m in a popular bookstore here in Ontario, Canada and there are Moomin notebooks and bags for the first time ever! Seeing these characters always makes me smile as an older person.

There are also a ridiculous amount of feral and domestic cats 🐈 that has become a tourist draw as “The cats of Kotor”. But the mountains were stunning.

Amanita muscaria- please don’t eat this. One of the most poisonous mushrooms 🍄 around. It’s the death mushroom. Folklore makes it look so cute but it’s lethal. Will kill pets quickly.

May you all find the blanket of comfort under a canopy near you. Trees always find their way to the sun no matter the weather. Take deep breaths, sit on a stump, close your eyes, smell Fall. Find your sunlight in the shade.

So I picked up this giant maple leaf today on my forest walk. It’s Canada 🇨🇦 perfect. It is the mish mash quilt of all the people who make up our stunning country. All the colours and influences unified in one palette. We are #canadastrong and every day I am more proud of what we stand on guard for.
