One of the most touching moments came when the manager of the club we couldn’t enter asked our team to pray for him. He shared that he’s been sober for a year and does his best to support the women when they’re struggling.

While the third club didn’t allow entry, we still made sure their gifts were delivered.

As we like to say, “If the gift gets in, it’s a win!”

On our outreach this month, our team had the opportunity to visit the women at two local strip clubs. Our team tried to visit a third, but weren’t able to enter this time.

But here’s the truth: The way you’ve learned to survive is nothing short of remarkable and is a testament to your resilience. You’ve done what you needed to do to make it this far — but now, it’s okay to let yourself be supported too.

So many of us have learned how to hold things together — to smile, to show up, to keep going — even when what we’re carrying feels impossibly heavy.
