They are subsidies. Only rich people earn enough to get credits & be paid later for buying in. Regular people either get a good rate or they can’t afford to purchase insurance. It’s a distinction with a big difference. The GOP love credits because they know most people can’t afford credits.

I hear you, get you, and I’m an AL descendant who is a yellow dog Dem and whose liberal values ironically are all derived from my southern roots. I am by no means trying to discourage your commitment or passion for our democracy. Just saying that we need to be smart in how we stop this cabal. Hugs.

Neither of you addressed the stone cold fact that the SCOTUS majority is blocking all minority groups from having political power. The truth is that the VRA as awesome as it was only applied in a few states & only focused on AAs. That was a flawed plan. WI has been blocking AA votes for years now.

Yeah. I lived in the Caribbean. I know people from Trini. I was thinking earlier about the many island taxis I’ve been on in my life that could have been a target for these psychos’ show of force for no legitimate reason.

They’re “culling the herd” & a majority of that herd will ultimately be W MAGA. In the Southern Strategy they weren’t solely blocking minorities. They were going after poor white people, too. Once they’ve shut everyone out of voting who isn’t a rich male landholder, we are all serfs. Game over
