A couple of weeks ago, Trump struggled with a broken umbrella as he boarded Air Force One.

Let me tell you how we got to this point — and the tragic downfall of the noble umbrella. 🧵
Oooooohhh that’s 🤯

I know this is bait (4/5 of his "good" games are shooters) but I love talking about videogames, so here's a list of videogames that gave me sublime experiences, that make videogames into something precious and special and worthy of respect. Screenshots when I 'got em

🧵
(honest question) what are the “good” video games? artistically i mean, not in a “i enjoyed this escapist slop” kind of way
Well. It's not Red Dead Redemption 2, but it's like one of three video games I'd genuinely consider good.

2. RETURN OF THE OBRA DINN: A therapist once told me that all anger comes from loss. I told her some anger came from joy, because one discovery in Obra Dinn was SO GOOD it made me physically angry. Emotion hysteresis is real
Which discovery was it? :D

Does your AI agent generate these markdown files though?
You say “Indeed, Jujutsu commits are mutable (until you push them)“.

I’m not sure how it’d keep track of multiple remotes and how it decides whether something is mutable or not.

Also this means that jj is more ‘centralised’? Maybe it doesn’t matter since everyone uses Git that way anyway though
One thing that I’d like to understand is how e ‘special’ pushed commits work, especially in different forks.
Ok, this sounds really enticing.

I like how you didn’t t go to the command level as most tutorials would do. I _think_ it makes more sense, now I need to find some time to try and put all this in practice!😅

Does this make any sense? Please let me know if not, it was surprisingly difficult to explain Jujutsu's mental model in the end:

Your old blogposts are what made Kubernetes finally ’click’ for me back in the day.

Do you have any similar resources for jj? Or I’d totally read whatever you write on it.

It includes instructions on how to start grabbing your collector's own telemetry if you're not already doing so.
And of course it's all FOSS, with contributions being welcome!
Hey #OpenTelemetry folks! We've released a #Prometheus mixin for the OpenTelemetry Collector! 🔭🎉

It's a set of predefined dashboards and alerts for monitoring your fleet of collectors using their internal metrics.

So grab it, `make dashboards_out`, import into @grafana.bsky.social and voila!

I wrote something about respectability in dress over on Twitter. The topic is nuanced for me, so unfortunately the post had to be long. Since Bluesky (reasonably) has character limits, I can't easily import the text here. So I'm including screenshots, if you would like to read it.
