They are growing, but not at a remarkable pace
ooooh that is a nice tiki mug
Came over this beautfiul specimen while walking in the mountains
A piece of cake forgotten in the spare refrigerator grew some interesting, and kind of beautiful, fungi. I didn't taste it, but the smell wasn't bad, earthy cake smell.
Today is the day the little Corydoras trilineatus (though it looks like it has gotten a new name recently, Hoplisoma trilineatum) gets to return to its family in a much bigger tank. Godspeed.
If you don't mind buying second hand a Sonos Play:1 1st generation isn't smart, and it sounds good, even better if you buy two
Also the shadow is clearly the Jon Bon Jovi-centaur
A Vickers machine gun on each front fender, maybe a Bren gun on the back
Beautiful colours on this Fomitopsis pinicola, or Kjuke as we call it where I live
I do not know, I have never seen any frogs or toads in this area before, so I hope to see some in the future. Rana Temporaria is the most common frog in Norway, so for now my guess is that.
But today I looked closer and there is indeed some tadpoles squirming about. Oh joy
Yesterday I thought that it was game over for all of the eggs because they were all scattered and all I could see moving were insects
My knowledge of frogeggs and the early life of tadpoles is very limited, but I do not think it looks good as of now. Hope I am wrong
Here comes your man, with Mr.Grieves breathing up his back
I have 5 of them but I hardly ever see them, only when moving stuff in the tank, so I have no insight to offer
Thank you, I needed this today
I believe that it might be a little unfair and inaccurate to state that Percy is the best, not to belittle him in any way or form, he probably is great, but I know at least one blue boy that is surprised by this decision
This is one of three rabbit snails I used to have, sadly these do not have a very long lifespan, but they are very interesting and watchable.
And here are 3 of my crystal red shrimp, handsome little creatures
Not completely free from evidence of mistreating, but living a much calmer life with Odessa barbs, ember tetras and a pearl gourami
What I don't know about mushrooms could probably fill a library. Some sort of polypore? Came over this on an old fallen down treetrunk when walking my dog, think it has some beautiful coloration
In my experience they are not exactly mean, but they are ferocious eaters and very observant (any insect landing on the water surface will be taken out) and in my case they singled out the weakest of the group and kept it from getting anything to eat.....ok, a little mean maybe
From the top the african butterfly fish looks more like a dragon, to me anyhow
