I worked at London Bridge for a couple of years - a long time ago - so the transformation of the South Bank and the view of the City has changed completely. Then you have buildings like Southwark Cathedral, St. Paul's, etc, that have remained the same.

I'm not sure what I think about this.
The 700 year old Tower of All Hallows suspended in the air to allow the building (of another) 36-storey office block.
Obviously, it's a big engineering project, and it preserves the past, but it somehow feels wrong. #London
