Hey internet, whats the name for the literary/game/film trope (japanese i think) where the protagonist is whisked away to an exoct/alien/unknown world and you learn the new world rules with them? I was talking about it just yesterday but can't remember the name.

The more I read about how to survive in indie dev by making snappy, quick turnaround streamer friendly roguelike stuff, the more I want to make a incredibly deep RPG with ridiculous levels of simulation.
