One thing nobody tells you about studying is how unsatisfying it is to finally get your diploma. Got my bachelors some day in the mail, looked at it and then put it in a drawer.

I suspect and have seen at least one video which confirms it that the reception will be super harsh. The title will kill the game and have people go in expecting a proper open world RPG. Maybe in a few months people will come forward and see it for what it is and be ok with that.

Kinda disagree. Devs worked with the limitations of the time and not each one hold up well but many of these games still look stunning today. Even tho some might not like it because they are not used to the aesthetic. Also gotta hand it to you I also enjoyed some games which looked actually ass.
It must be quite the challenge to design for multiple audiences. Of course the option to skip the tutorial could be a step to make it work for experienced and new players but that could be tough if the tutorial is integrated in the story which otherwise is a great way to handle tutorials.
Honestly the dialogue is pretty awful. It was charming in the first game but now in the second one I really noticed how often they just say meaningless and hollow stuff. It also just often seems so unnatural and forced.
How some models are like supernatural reminds me of how in WW1 British sniper rifles were just regular service rifles which did well on the tests and so more accurate these were then fine tuned by specialists for snipers. I could imagine that stuff for gundams as well.
Isn’t the shift in keys also just a tenant from type writers? Pretty sure it was just a thing because the levers of the keys could not be on top each other and actually had no ergonomic benefit.
I am way to susceptible for these kind of games. It hurts me to even think how many hours I wasted on VS, 9 Kings, Mega Bonk, Brotato, and similar dopamine mills. I never get anything out of it except the mind numbing fun you get from scrolling TikTok.
30*100*3=9000 but that is if you assume they are being efficient with it. One could imagine that some eat more than they need or other just don’t get any. So, a bit lower would be more realistic.
I have an HTC Vive which I bought refurbished and I like it but there is some hassle to it. I need to make space to play, do the room play setup, and just wearing the thing is kinda exhausting. It is all not to bad but at the same tinnitus can keep you from using it that much.
The game would be so much more charming if it just did its own thing instead of relying on memes which were outdated and cringey 5 years ago already. Just some quirky fantasy setting could work nicely for it. Also I get the feeling that many items and builds are just not viable at all.
