Happy for Jake Moody tonight.

My unofficial scoring of that double play for the #Brewers

When all you need to win one of your most important leagues is 2 points from James Cook and he’s off to a 6-yard first quarter. #Bills

I’m a #Brewers fan … but c’mon Pat.

This gimmick sucks. Brewers are awesome; dodgers know them; let’s not be dumb
Brewers manager Pat Murphy: ‘I'm sure that most Dodger players can't name eight guys on our roster. No offense to them, they shouldn't have to know the names, but these are some guys that hopefully they know their names by the time it's over. You never know.’

Finally some resistance.

Just like the #Raiders and Pete Carroll. So many terrible teams just insist on remaining terrible.

Ian Rapoport said on NFL GameDay Live that Arthur Smith and Matt Nagy are two names to watch for the #Titans' next head coach

If these 2 end up being interviewed for the job, then the fans better hope neither get hired. There is NOTHING good to say about them as head coaches.

Reducing the O/U on touches for Bill Merritt from 78.4 to 78.3. #Commanders

✅✅✅ INJURY UPDATE ✅✅✅

Chris Rodriguez Jr. (calf) is ACTIVE for MNF
tomkessenich.bsky.social
It’s his belief they need to use Kyle Monangai more. Maybe we see that starting tonight coming out of the bye.

A lot of beat writers think Tony Pollard is available. #Chargers beat writers think LA is trying to get him which makes a ton of sense. He should be very affordable and he’s a good RB. I had a #Bears beat writer on my Sirius show last week and he insists the team loves Swift.
timholstad.fantasynowplus.com
The Bears should be calling about Chuba, or Breece Hall, or Kenneth Walker at this point. Possibly the Cardinals as well if they think Benson is missing more than the 4 game minimum.
tomkessenich.bsky.social
They shouldn’t.

As I posted yesterday, it doesn’t matter what type of contract Hubbard got in the offseason. Nor does it matter who the #Panthers have played, back-to-back 200-yard games by Rico Dowdle simply cannot be ignored.
tomkessenich.bsky.social
Same here. I have Chuba shares and zero Dowdle shares (unfortunately since I’m a big Rico fan). If it was my decision, I’d give him the job outright. Chuba has been Pipp’d.

The renewed commitment to Derrick Henry was HUGE in my opinion. It was three weeks too late in occurring but the fact it happened and was so successful against a stout run defense is something the #Ravens can definitely use to build upon moving forward.

Adam Schefter at 12:53 p.m. - "For all I know, I'm gonna hang up here and someone's getting fired, but I don't see a head coach losing his job. I don't see Brian Callahan, obviously, has come under intense criticism; I don't see that happening soon."

1:50 p.m., Titan fire Brian Callahan. 🤷

Titans part ways with HC Brian Callahan.

Dude, somebody named Kameron Johnson dropped 4-64-1 for the #Buccaneers after Egbuka left *yesterday.*

That’s the type of production we all lost.
lateroundqb.bsky.social
Ah don't worry guys Emeka Egbuka is just gonna miss games against the Lions and Saints and *sobs uncontrollably*
tomkessenich.bsky.social
I covered the NFL for a decade. If a player is immediately ruled out of a game, which Egbuka pretty much was yesterday, the injury is bad.

Those “not serious” injury reports were clickbait bullshit.

The only question now is whether the injury is serious enough to justify an IR stint or not.
tomkessenich.bsky.social
Problem is even getting Rice back I’m so far behind now I could run the table and I don’t think it’ll matter. That’s what sucks.
