Inaccurate reporting that it was a original 1950s ranch style house. That is a track housing enclave built in the 80s. We used to play in that ravine in the 70s - there was nothing there back then. To the streetside right is a McMansion built recently - why couldn't that have been the one to burn...

This YouTuber who specializes in Mercedes says the solar car design is the future design language for all Mercedes cars. I did not read that in any of the official press releases but I'll defer to "Mr. Benz" for now.

The instant solar paint is applied it becomes tidal locked to the car and can never be upgraded or improved. A solar car using heliotropic, two-band wafers and film can be upgraded multiple times as new power output milestones are achieved.

The only time John Landis brought his stotic lens to the otherwise bombastic horror movie genre (bombasticity that Landis lampoons in the dream sequences.) If for anything watch it for what should have been an Oscar winning performance by Griffin Dunne as Jack and still cracks me up to this day. 🖤

Speaking of crafting Halloween month to your liking, make a dying old man happy and add 'American Werewolf in London' (1981) to your Halloween movie list. Rarely part of broadcast TV "scare a thons" and that's a shame. Still underappreciated. Highly recommended.

2nd generation solar paint is $15k a gallon. Takes ~six to eight gallons to paint a normal sized car, twice that for this giant concept.

I really like the design of the back half and its homage to the gullwing.
