Spring 1945: Joseph Gérard and his little brother Marius on top of Tiger '105' in the rubble of the house of Justin Lemaire in the rue Haute Rivage in Stavelot. The tank of Ostuf. Jürgen Wessel stood there since the afternoon of 19.12.1944.

The Wéreth Eleven - the report written by Captain William F. Everett, ass. regimental surgeon of the 395th US Infantry Regiment, disproves popular myths about torture. What was done to the victims, as recorded by Everett, is horrific enough without the post-war exaggerations.

Het is een wijdverbreid misverstand dat Person of the Year een soort stamp of approval is. Het is niet meer en niet minder dan benadrukken wie het afgelopen jaar de krantenkoppen domineerde, letterlijk "for better or for worse". Stalin was 2x Man of the Year, Trump 2x, Chroesjtsjov en Khomeini 1x
