#hamradio I’m now on blue sky … come and follow me and I’ll do likewise. 73.
Visiting a uni with my daughter for an open day so missing that this year. Not sure I can do two in a row either.
Still sad news but also quite amazing that the death toll in Jamaica amounted to 4 people. Yes that’s 4 too many, but my word it could have been so so many more.

You beat us at G2EC … I think we had a relaxed approach and this led to a good laugh! Well done up there. 👍
Any full licence holders changed their call to another full call? If you didn’t already know, you can!
Have you read Practical Wireless? Two letters published. One is a short paragraph, the other a 750 word mini essay. I’m not saying who the author of that one is, but… 🤣
M8/M9 now available for intermediate licence holders…
Beamish a little more milky if I recall..
£1 a pint in my student says at the SU Bar .. witnesses claim I ordered one or two..
Covid hits me for the second time. Bed bound and feeling very rough. Bit of a sweep of it at work by the looks of it.
Ordered a green Parker in readiness
Count to ten .. often…
Nice to work 10,12 and 15m with the 133ft efhw portable. Great to hear the upper HF bands open. Moving away from doldrums into hopefully a fruitful autumn for HF.
I dunno, never happens with Basics, must contact the Editor… 😉
Thank you Peter
No email as far as I could see. They recommend x or bluesky
@noaacomms.noaa.gov Hi there I am the editor of an online journal for the Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB) called RadCom Basics and we are looking to use an image from one of your web pages. Can we confirm if this is possible and how to gain permission? Thank you.
I’m not entirely sure?
