senku explains what happened last night. he's covered in bruises. after several rounds of kicking, kohaku locked him in an embrace he couldn't escape, and he was so tired he fell asleep like that

"that's strange. i don't usually sleep this deep in places i don't know. but i slept well last night!"

but she was still asleep. senku tries to wake her but she's dead to the world in dreamland. he repositions kohaku back onto her bed and goes back to sleep

next morning kohaku wakes up and finds senku in her arms.

"senku?!" she pushes him away, which wakes him

a bit too long. he falls asleep too.

then, in the middle of the night, senku's woken up by the feeling of kohaku against his back. he barely turns around to ask what's up before kohaku's foot pushes against him and he's kicked to the other wall

"OW! Oi, why're you kicking me??"

well, too late to get another room now. and it's not weird or awkward (they tell themselves) kohaku climbs into one of the beds and falls asleep immediately. senku takes a bit to brush his teeth and then lies down on the bed next to her. and definitely doesn't stare at her sleeping expression for

there's available rooms, but kohaku says "well one room is cheaper than two, anyway it has two single beds so it's not a problem" and both agree to stay because it's efficient and cheap and they're just using the room to sleep

they pay, get to the room and the beds are next to each other

postcanon, when society's been mostly rebuilt. (they aren't dating in this) senku and kohaku are out in the city all night, it's getting very late and they decide to stay at whatever hotel they pass by first and spend the night there

when in tokyo we got to our hotel room which was supposed to be 2 single beds, and it was, but the room was so tiny that the beds were placed side by side with maybe a 4cm gap in between. it's like the "and there was only one bed" trope but different

there's two types of official merch artists for dcst, one can draw xeno super well and the other can draw stanley super well

then theres the elusive third kind who can draw them both super well (journey of growth art)

i think if i stayed in japan any longer i'd have actual muscle definition from all the carrying my luggage up and down train station stairs and walking 15k steps a day
