Nothing has to be brilliant from the first moment. The best work comes when you have to drag it out of yourself, kicking and screaming.
Notice what happens to your breath when you think that way. It gets short. Limited. Tight.

If your thoughts come between the breaths, slow down your breathing. Make room for different thoughts to arrive.

The ones that whisper about opportunities for starting.
Sometimes it's the enormity of the blank page. What you could do feels so much bigger than what you feel able to do right now.
And when that happens, the "shoulds" pile on: "I should be creative", "I should be successful", "I should be better at this"
Hypnosis isn't unconsciousness or trance.
